All incoming freshmen are invited to register for Hokie Camp. Due to the success of Hokie Camp 2008, there will be three sessions offered for summer 2009: August 10-12, August 12-14, and August 17-19, 2009.

Frank Shushok Jr. named associate vice president for student affairs at Virginia Tech
Edward Spencer, vice president for student affairs, has appointed Frank Shushok Jr. of Waco, Texas as the associate vice president for student affairs. Shushok has been dean for student learning and engagement at Baylor University since 2004. He is expected to begin his new role at Virginia Tech in August.
