Chili Challenge

Chili Challenge

Are You Ready to Take the Chili Challenge?

During Fire Prevention Week, October 6-9, eat a bowl of chili every day during lunch at D2 or dinner at Shultz Dining Center. Each day the chili will get progressively hotter; prove that you can take the heat by finishing a bowl every day and you will earn a Chili Challenge T-shirt! Sign-up is limited to 300 participants for lunches at D2 and 100 for dinners at Shultz Dining Center.

Registration is full!

To take the chili challenge, you must:

  • Participate at either D2 or Shultz Dining Center--you must participate each day at the location that you signed up for.
  • Eat a bowl of chili Monday through Thursday in the dining center that you signed up for. If you skip a day, you are automatically disqualified.

Rules:

  • You may not add anything to the chili and may not eat anything with it (i.e. bread or crackers).
  • You may only drink water with your chili.
  • You must participate in the dining center that you signed up for.
  • You must eat in the designated Chili Challenge area.
  • You must show your empty bowl to the judge when you are finished.

Special circumstances may be approved by the manager of that dining facility.

Because the quantity of chili is determined by the number of students who sign up, students not participating in the contest may not have any chili.
