Construction and Renovation Projects

Virginia Tech Student Programs will lead seven major building projects in six years to update existing facilities and allow for expansion to new ones. There will be two new residence halls, a new dining facility on the academic side of campus, a two-phase major renovation of Ambler Johnston Hall, and construction on West End Market and Owens Food Court, all designed with the help of student input. These projects are part of an ongoing effort to promote sustainable growth and improve student life on campus.
