West End Market Renovation

West End Market was added onto Cochrane Hall in 1999 and was the first marché concept opened on a college campus in the United States. The dining center has become so popular that more space is needed to accommodate the more than 5,000 students who visit West End Market daily.

The dining area will be expanded to allow for 100 additional seats, and the kitchen will undergo a renovation and expansion to meet the needs of the increased number of customers.

This building and all new construction projects in Student Programs’ current master building plan are designed with sustainability in mind and will meet requirements for U.S. Green Building Council LEED silver certification.
