Residence Life Office Calls for Favorite Faculty Nominations

The Office of Residence Life is seeking Favorite Faculty nominations from students who live on campus. A reception honoring the selected faculty members and the students who recommend them will be held Monday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m. in the Hillcrest Hall dining room. Both teaching/research and administrative/professional faculty members are eligible for Favorite Faculty nominations. 

Residence Life’s Favorite Faculty program is an effort to encourage students to recognize the positive impact faculty members have on them and their college experiences. The reception will provide a forum for students and faculty members to spend time together outside of the classroom and celebrate their positive interactions.

All on-campus residents are eligible to nominate up to two faculty members for their outstanding contributions, dedication to students, or personal influence. Students should submit nominations online to recognize their favorite professors and administrators.

Faculty members will receive a letter informing them of their nomination along with an invitation to the reception. Participating students will be notified when their faculty member responds to the invitation.
