Theme Housing Programs

Students who participate in theme housing are more likely to have a higher cumulative GPA, more frequent interactions with peers and professors, higher rates of class attendance, and increased participation in faculty mentorship programs than their non-theme housing peers.

New students who wish to join a theme housing community must fill out an application and select the theme housing option when they submit their housing and dining contract. Returning students should contact the Theme Housing Programs Office at (540) 231-5709 or themevt@vt.edu.

Theme housing is no longer accepting applications for 2008-09. Please check in mid-December for information on 2009-10 theme housing applications. Hillcrest Honors Community and the Main Campbell Honors Community are by invitation only. For more information, contact University Honors. Contact the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets for information on joining.
