Main Campbell Community
Main Campbell Community, located in Main Campbell Hall, is a residential honors program for students who have demonstrated superior academic ability. It is a companion program to the Hillcrest Community. Students in the Main Campbell Community live with other members of the University Honors program from all academic class levels. This community incorporates a peer mentoring program, in which upperclassmen help guide residents through their first year.
Students are nominated to participate based upon a review of the Honors applications and are invited to join by a selection committee. Each student must participate in a two-hour honors colloquium each semester. Special events of academic, intellectual, and social interest are planned for residents. Interested students are encouraged to discuss the community with University Honors Program staff members.
