Laundry InformationMost residence halls have laundry facilities. To check on these, as well as other amenities, please take the residence hall virtual tour. Worried about collecting enough change to do your laundry? The Hokie Passport Account will allow you to access snack and drink machines as well as the washers and dryers located in the residence hall. In addition, all on-campus dining facilities accept the Hokie Passport. With the Hokie Passport, you no longer have to carry cash around, worry about how much money is in your checkbook, look for change to buy a soft drink or quarters to do laundry. Since the information is all on your student ID, you don't have to worry about extra cards. Related Links 
Athletics and Fitness InformationThe Virginia Tech Golf Course is located on campus. For current rates of annual passes, greens fees, or for more information, contact the golf course at (540) 231-6435. For exercise and student health, we offer a variety of facilities, including War Memorial Gym and The McComas Athletic Center.Ê The McComas Athletic center, opened in 1998, offers truly state of the art facilities, including three gymnasiums , an elevated walking/jogging track, two aerobic studios, a weight training and cardiovascular area, a running, 25 yard swimming pool as well as several other amenities. Both gyms are free of charge for all students. If you happen to be interested in playing intramural sports during your stay in Blacksburg, please check out the Intramural sports link. The Department of Recreational Sports employs more than 300 students each academic year. Both work study and non-work study positions are available.
