Deet's Place Coffee College

Deet’s Coffee College offers courses throughout the academic year on various aspects of specialty coffee and consumer issues. Coffee production is one of the largest industries in the world, second only to oil; its impact on the environment, business, and people is tremendous.

Come learn what good (and bad) coffee really is, try some exceptional coffees, learn how your choices as a coffee consumer impact people around the world, learn how to make great coffee at home, and come away with the knowledge needed to convince your parents that you really are becoming a sophisticated, well-rounded person.

Take any of the classes offered or take them all. “Tuition” is paid for by a grant from Deet’s Place. Completion of all courses offered will earn you a certificate showing what a cultured coffee geek you are, as well as some really cool swag to help you practice your new coffee-making skills. Each class will run between 90 minutes and two hours.

Space is limited, so sign up early at Deet’s Place!
